Who We Are
At Abundant Life Assembly, our mission goes beyond Sunday services. We are a community dedicated to meeting people exactly where they are and empowering them to grow and move forward in their faith.
Our ministry strategy is to embrace the five central ministries of Jesus. Discipleship, Kingdom Building, Spirit Empowered Ministry, Meeting Practical Needs, and Prayer.
A Healthy church filled with Healthy people that are passionate in their pursuit of Jesus.
We are committed to the 4 Central ministries of Jesus.
Discipleship. Jesus was committed to Teaching – for us that means making disciples. We offer classes, small groups, and opportunities to serve in community and grow.
Kingdom Building – Jesus was committed to Preaching. Kingdom Building is about reaching people with Gospel. This means in our local community as well as praying and supporting missions efforts within the US and around the world.
Spirit Empowered Ministry. Jesus ministered with signs and wonders under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This ministry blessed people, demonstrated the Kingdom, and caused crowds to come and hear the Gospel. We strive to give place for Spirit Empowered ministry at every gathering. We also have some dedicated times for ministry like Breakthrough Prayer rooms and Holy Spirit Encounter nights.
Practical Ministries. Jesus often met practical needs. He went about “doing good.” We strive to love and serve our congregation and community in practical ways.
Prayer. Jesus was a person of prayer and calls the Church to be a House of Prayer. We have weekly prayer gatherings to intercede and seek the face of Jesus.

Mt 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. 25 Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.

A Vision Takes Root
Abundant Life started as a church plant in Brooklyn Michigan with a dream and a desire to create a community of Spirit Filled believers that loved Jesus, loved each other, and loved the lost.
In 2022 Abundant Life moved to it’s current location in Cement City and merged with New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship. Since the merger the church has grown and has continued to see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Abundant Life is placed strategically at the intersection of Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee counties. We believe we are called to be a regional center for Revival, Healing, and Deliverance.
