Abundant Life Assembly was started in October of 2006 with a vision to be a relevant, contemporary, healthy, full-Gospel church helping people in Brooklyn and the Irish Hills area experience abundant life in Christ. We have defined our mission as "Meeting people where they are and Helping them move forward in their faith."
Pastor Steve had served as the youth pastor at Bethany Assembly of God in Adrian Michigan for a little over 10 years. In May of 2006 the Lord confirmed the call to plant a church in Brooklyn. With the support of Bethany Assembly, the vision for this new church was shared and with the Lord's help a core group was formed. With this solid core, worship services were started and the ministry was dedicated on October 1, 2006.
In April 2022 Abundant Life merged with New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship (continuing ministry as Abundant Life Assembly) and moved to the corner of Harper Rd. and US-127. The Lord has blessed and we are continuing to see fruitful ministry. We believe God has called us to this location and ministry "for such a time as this."
